Charlotte introducing Darcy to the whelping box. 7 weeks pregnant.

We disinfected the 'maternity wing' on Friday and have installed the whelping box. Darcy seems quite chuffed with her own private bedroom, and we are encouraging her to spend time in there each day. At the moment she'd still rather be cuddled up in bed with Welli, than be on her own, but that will change as due date approaches.

She is very perky this morning and seems to be back to her normal happy self after a few days of being quite morose. She was outside first thing, rolling under the cedar tree - which is her favourite morning activity.
