Not much change

2.45pm UK time (not sure what time this blog works on but it isn't ours): If we go outside, for a stroll around the garden on the lead, she will do a lot of panting and shivering afterwards. Then after 20 minutes she settles down and dozes again. So I am walking her round the garden every hour to try and keep things progressing - it works for humans, so probably will for her as well.
The whelping room is up to a good temperature and the heated pads are both working. Now everything is in place there isn't much room left in the maternity wing for me - certainly not for me and a laptop and some work.
She has shown no interest at all in breakfast or lunch.
I'm going to have a power nap in preparation for the night ahead, whilst my assistant maternity nurse (Steve) keeps watch.

  1. I object to being referred to as 'Assistant Maternity Nurse'. I have yet to be issued with my nurses uniform.
